In march 2025 at Living Tomorrow, we were part of something truly exciting. Our team explored how Artificial Intelligence and IoT are revolutionizing the construction industry, making buildings smarter, more efficient, and fully connected.
At Scanbie, we took on the challenge of integrating IoT into Mixed Reality. We started with the fundamentals: voice recognition, hand tracking, and real-time data integration, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
We witnessed attendees engaging in lively networking, insightful presentations, and hands-on interactive demonstrations, including virtual reality headsets that offered a glimpse into the future of construction.
Together with our partners – ABB, Schüco Belgium NV/SA, and Extreme Networks, we showcased how Mixed Reality experience that can transform interaction with smart buildings. Imagine checking real-time weather, controlling climate systems, adjusting smart windows, and interacting with connected electronics—all with intuitive gestures.
We had the opportunity to explore incredible innovations from our partners such as Recticel Insulation België/Belgique, The Belgian nv, AFAS Software, Proximus Group, and BDO.
The event was a hub for exchanging ideas and witnessing the innovations that are actively shaping the future of construction. From a robotic arm demonstration to detailed architectural plans, the exhibits highlighted the tangible progress we are collectively making in smart building technologies.
